How We Met

We met at CxT Coffee on a cold January evening after matching and exchanging messages on Bumble. We both felt like it could turn in to something special, and set up a second date right away! We had to wait a whole week for date number two so Laurel could go visit her brother and welcome her nephew to the world - born just three days after our first date!

Falling in Love

2020 was a hard year for everyone, but it meant spending time with the people closest to each of us. For us, that meant many evenings cooking together or getting takeout, talking late into the night, and sharing our love of film and TV. On weekends, you could often find us out for a walk or long hike.

Engagement

On November 1, 2020, we flew to Florida for a week of vacation with Ben’s parents. We went down to the beach the night we got there to watch the sunset, and Ben just couldn’t wait to ask any longer!
